Tenique Vincent of Concorde Athletic Club and Kymani Felix of D’Abadie Progressive topped their respective Girls and Boys Under-15 Heptathlon Trials when the two-day trials for the North American Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Under 13-15 Age Group hosted by the National Association of Athletic Administration (NAAA) ended on Sunday in Tobago.

Concorde Athletic Club’s twin brother and sister Tyrique and Tenique Vincent, Michal Paul, Zenith’s Malique Young and Tehillah Francois of the Mason Hall Police Youth Club (PYC) will be seeking to continue their dominating form at the Trials for theÊupcoming North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Age Group Under-13 and U-15 Championships, this weekend.

Dr Ian Hypolite made the decision to seek the leadership of the National Association of Athletics Administrations of T&T (NAAATT) at the virus-delayed Tokyo Olympics in Japan, mid-year.

Incumbent president of the National Association of Athletic Administration of T&T (NAAATT) George Comissiong was given a resounding show of support to lead track and field into the future on Saturday, as his slate obliterated the opposing slate being led by Dr Ian Hypolite at the annual general meeting (AGM) and election of officers in a Hybrid at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Balmain, Couva.

Interim president George Comissiong and Dr. Ian Hypolite will hope today that their respective campaigns leading up to Saturday’s annual general meeting (AGM) and election of officers of the National Association of Athletics Administrations of T&T (NAAATT) will be enough to convince the general membership representing 59 clubs that either team will have what it takes to govern the sport over the next three years.
