PORTIOUS WARREN is relieved after re-writing the record books on Thursday by claiming TT`s first ever medal at the World University Games.

THE Republic Bank NAAATT Relay Festival 2019, is set to take place today, from 2 pm, at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo. According to a media release from the National Association of Athletic Administrations TT (NAAATT), “The event, which is intended to strengthen the relay-running capability of our athletes, will feature relay teams from all our registered clubs competing for valuable cash prizes.”

THE TT Olympic Committee (TTOC), on Friday, announced the team for the 2019 TT Pan Am Games. A total of 98 athletes (58 male, 40 female), will represent TT at the Games in Lima, Peru, which will be held from July 26 to August 11.

DEON Lendore and Asa Guevara showed their quality on local soil leading the Abilene Wildcats Athletic Club to victory in the men’s 4x400m relay, at the Republic Bank NAAA Relay Festival at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Mucurapo, yesterday.
