The World Athletics (WA) formerly IAAF Kids’ Athletics Programme is one of the largest grassroots development programmes in the world of sports. The Deon Lendore Bursary Programme is an NAAATT initiative, sponsored by the Scotiabank Foundation that is aimed at providing deserving, young athletes with support to assist them in realizing their academic and sporting goals. The Programme is named after Deon Lendore, one of Trinidad and Tobago’s best quarter-milers, who died in a vehicular accident in January 2022. Read More
