Jereem “The Dream” Richards regained his NGC NAAA Open Track and Field Championship men’s 200 metres title at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, in Port of Spain, yesterday.
Kyle Greaux emerged from the turn ahead of Richards. But the 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medallist battled past Greaux on the straight, raising his right arm in triumph as he crossed the line in a Championship record time of 20.14 seconds. Greaux clocked 20.18 to claim silver, with bronze going to Akanni Hislop in 20.68.
