T&T female 100 metre sprinter Michelle-Lee Ahye has won her heat and has qualified for the semi-final of the event at the Tokyo Olympics.

She ran in lane 6 in heat number 7 in a time of 11.06 ahead of Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson in 11.07.

The top three qualified for the semi-final.
