The Badal sisters, Tamia and Taejha, continued their fine run of form, last weekend. At the Howie Ryan Invitational in Texas, USA, on Friday, 18-year-old Tamia established a new personal best in the women's 60 metres hurdles, clocking 8.51 seconds to secure silver.
The Concordia Lutheran High School student was very close to gold, producing the same time as the winner, American Baylee Lara. Just seven-thousandths of a second separated the two.
