Trinidad and Tobago track star Michelle-Lee Ahye picked up silver in the women's 100 metres dash at the Istvan Gyulai Memorial meet, in Hungary, yesterday. Ahye got home in 11.14 seconds to finish just behind Ivorian Marie Josee Ta Lou, the winner in 11.12. Third spot went to American Dezerea Bryant (11.26).

Ahye also clocked 11.14 in her two outdoor victories this year: on April 9 at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia; and on June 23 at the NGC/Sagicor NAAA National Open Championships. But Ahye's fastest 2018 clocking to date came in her third-place finish at the Bislett Games IAAF Diamond League meet in Oslo, Norway on June 7, the Carenage sprinter getting home in 11.06 seconds.
